  1. Identify and engage with populations of displaced children through various channels
    • Website (Interest form, donation, email, phone)
    • Social Media, direct outreach, word-of-mouth, community newsletters
  2. Offer services and resources to enable a healthy lifestyles for displaced children
    • Physical/Mental Health: Bikes, safety gear (pads, helmet), shoes, clothing, toys, sports gear, exercise equipment, etc.
    • Education: Books, backpacks, school supplies
    • Financal: Gift cards, monetary donations sponsored by community grants and bake sales
  3. Outreach and advertising with commmunity partners
    • Educational institutions, healthcare providers, businesses, other nonprofits that support displaced children
    • Community partners reference HEARD in their communication/outreach channels (eg. website, newsletters) and offer HEARD services as free additional services to displaced children
  4. Organize fundraisers, donation drives, campaigns to benefit displaced children
    • Plan and organize events, including setting goals, recruiting volunteers, and reaching out to the community for support
    • Execute and manage events, and track results/outcomes to evaluate goals
    • Ensure funds/resources from events are distributed as per goals
  5. Donation matching, inventory management and distribution of items
    • Keep track of donations, requests, and shipping of items based on requests
    • Align individual donations directly with member needs
  1. Offer free tutoring for displaced children (elementary through high school)
    • Identify and build a network of volunteer subject matter experts, coaches, mentors
    • Match these volunteers with requests coming in from members
  1. Offer mentoring & coaching through our team of volunteer subject matter experts (high school course selections, resume-building, essay-writing, college application process, career advice)
    • Build and maintain a network of volunteer subject matter experts, coaches, mentors
    • Match these volunteers with requests coming in from members
