2. Operation Liberty Hill Disaster Relief

For our second event of the summer, we donated boxes of canned food, clothes, books, and toys to Operation Liberty Hill in Leander, TX. We were thrilled to be a part of the Hill Country disaster relief!
1. Gift Card Tree Fundraiser

For our first event of the year, we donated $100 worth of gift cards to the Williamson County Child Welfare Board to aid their Spring fundraiser.

6. Yesterday’s Gone Holiday Drive

For our last event of the year, we donated $100 worth of gift cards to a new organization, Yesterday’s Gone, which helps women and children dealing with abuse by guiding them towards self-sustainability.

4. Austin Angels Gift Wrapping Event: Target

MAKING:
We had so much fun making almost 50+ colorful origami butterflies! Our Youth Leaders Anirudh & Alina stepped in and helped out 🙂
GIVING:
We are so grateful to be able to give these butterflies to our local hospice center & we were touched when we found its deeper meaning. Behind each butterfly is a lost soul- a source of comfort for the grieving families to write a message on and set it free as they sew it onto a quilt.

Volunteering Event in India: July 25, 2022 – Donated Sports supplies, Clothes and stationeries.
Like every trip to India, this July 2022 we visited the Karnataka Orphanage Children Development Management(R), Bangalore. We were able to donate clothes, sport supplies, toys, school supplies, and other essentials. It was so gratifying and rewarding to see the smiles on their faces as they tried on their clothes and jumped around like Spider-Man. Through HEARD we plan on contributing more to places in need.
